Message from the Admin. Team

We had a busy start-up to the year at SJDA . Welcome

to our International Students who are a wonderful

addition to our school. Reminder we have most of our

sale items on Cashless and we sent home the instructions

in the school packages. Students don’t have to handle

any cash and you get a instant statement which can be

used for income tax purposes. First PSSC Meeting will

be on Wednesday, October 10th at 6:30 PM. All welcome

to attend.

Our Senior Boys & Girls soccer teams have both played

two games. We are playing our home games at SSHS as

they are working on the Harry Mallory field. The soccer

league will be finished by October 21st. The Regionals

for both teams are on Saturday, October 27th.

Cross-Country is going strong with over 30 students

running everyday after school. There are two more

meets in October. The Regionals are in Hampton—start

at 10:00 AM finish at 1:30 PM— Provincials in Moncton—

start at 10:00 AM finish at 1:30 PM.

Golf Regionals are at the Alonquin Golf Course on

September 28th.

NBCC Service Day on Wednesday, October 3rd. The

NBCC Students will again be serving a pancake

breakfast free of charge to all our students beginning at

8:00 AM.

SJDA will have their annual Potato Fundraiser

beginning October 9th. Completed forms are due

November 8th and potatoes will arrive on November

16th. Each student will be given a pack of five forms to

sell. All monies earned goes toward Student & SRC

activities.

Career Week kicks off October 29th with the Grade 11 &

12’s going to the Post-Secondary Expo at SSHS.
