UM NOVO CAMPO DE TREINONEW DRIVING RANGE

O Resort dispõe de um novo Campo de Treino, já considerado um dos melhores da Europa, com capacidade até 70 jogadores e 12 tapetes de prática cobertos. Em 2008, e após seis meses de trabalhos, esta facilidade reabriu ao público exibindo um novo conceito. Conta com uma distância de 210 a 270 metros (a partir dos tees), novos target greens, novo putting green, chipping green e bunker de prática. Com a renovação, a zona de prática foi completamente levantada de modo a assegurar a máxima drenagem e um novo sistema de irrigação foi instalado. Para melhorar os acessos, foi construída uma ponte nova para carts, bem como novos caminhos e áreas de estacionamento para buggies.

The Penina Golf Resort features a state-of-the-art driving range, which includes 12 covered practice bays and caters for up to 70 golfers. The exceptional facility, which is considered one of the best in Europe, was completely renovated in 2008. The relaunch included the introduction of a putting green, chipping green, practice bunker as well as target greens. The practice facility area was also raised to ensure effective drainage and a new irrigation system was installed. Access is now available via bridge, cart paths and cart parking areas.

The Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course provides one of the most challenging and rewarding golf experiences in the Algarve. Among the course’s many memorable holes is the famous 13th par 3, which has been voted one of the best 500 holes in the world.

The Resort Course provides both a challenge for the more experienced player and an ideal gentle training ground for the beginner. The 9-hole course was created specifically by Sir Henry Cotton to test the abilities of golfers of all levels. Its range of lakes and sand hazards combine for a truly enjoyable golfing experience.

O Academy é um campo de golfe de 9 buracos, originalmente desenhado para jogadores principiantes nesta modalidade desportiva, é também um excelente campo para o golfista mais experiente que pretenda praticar e desenvolver o seu short game.

The Academy Course was specifically designed for the intermediate golfer with a nine-hole executive experience, ideal for all-round holiday golf. The greens are reasonably short, and therefore accuracy off the tee and for approach shots is required; providing a great opportunity for players to fine tune their short game.
