SIPAL has been a leader in the Automotive sector since the early ‘eighties, the period in which through the initial activities developed for clients such as FIAT AUTO and ALFA ROMEO, the company developed its specialization in preparing technical support documentation for automobiles, heavy goods vehicles, special vehicles and motor vehicles in general. SIPAL has also worked closely with ASTRA VEICOLI INDUSTRIALI providing Product Support services for both civil and military vehicles, thanks to its particular experience in the military field, which demands specific security clearance in terms of both human resources and the areas where these activities are conducted. Alongside the more traditional activities such as producing Use and Maintenance Manuals, Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogues and Technical translation/interpreting, over the years SIPAL has also won a leading position in the use of advanced technology for developing Digital Publications, Interactive Publications (IEMT) and integrated software solutions for managing and using technical manuals. Since 2007, SIPAL has been working, with excellent results, with a team of mechanical engineers in the field of ILS design specifically for the Automotive sector: FMEA/FMECA analysis for engines, gearboxes and transmissions (power train).
