We utilize the latest technology including intraoperative nerve monitoring, the use of the harmonic scalpel which allows us to perform minimally invasive procedures that result in less blood loss, smaller incisions, and faster recovery.Dr. Kerner is the director of the Northridge Hospital Head and Neck Cancer Center and director of the Head and Neck Tumor Board, a multispecialty group of physicians, social workers, and support staff who meet monthly to discuss the treatment of head and neck cancer patients. This Board includes Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Dental specialists, Radiologists, and Pathologists.
