siNoise is the new modular software from SINUS Mess-technik GmbH for noise measurements and real-timeanalysis with the HARMONIETM, SoundbookTM andNoiseLOG devices.

Due to the successful symbiosis of DSP technology fromSINUS Messtechnik GmbH and the si++ technology fromAkustik Technologie Gtt ingen we are able to of fer a

universally applicable sound level meter and analyzerwith 2 to 8 measurement channels as a range of compa-tible modules. The following measurements, analyses andadditional functions are available:

    Sound level meter, type 1

Measurements in compliance with EN60561,EN60804 and IEC61672-1 standards

Time-weighted sound level with time constants(Fast, Slow, Impulse, Peak) and frequencyweightings (A, B, C, FLAT)

Maximum sound level (Lmax), minimum sound

level (Lmin) and equivalent continuous sound level Leq

Sound exposure level (LE), takt-max sound level(LAtm5 ), peak values ( Lpeak, LCpeak, LCeq)

    Level-time histories

    Calibratable (application for PTB-approval)

    Measurement of tonality

    Sound recorder / data logger

Recording of audio signals with full and decimatedbandwidth

    Additional recording of slowly-changing values

    (4 channels)

Recording of rotational frequencies / phaseinformation (2 channels)

Recording of external events (serial telegrams)

Start / stop via various triggers

    Third-octave and octave analyzer

    Real-t ime third-octave filter according to IEC1260

type 0 Measurements from 0.5 Hz to 20 kHz

    Instantaneous, Leq and max-spectrasimultaneously

    Sound monitoring system

Remote control via LAN, ISDN, GSM, GPRS

    Control module for automatic measurements

    Automatic cyclical microphone calibration

Alarm module for SMS and e-mail messages

Audible monitoring in CD quality via LAN or ISDN

A sophisticated flexible trigger system allows effectivemeasurements and reduces the storage of data that areof no interest. In addition to the event of a signal risingabove or falling below a level, the internal clock, exter-nal messages (serial channels) and the slow channelsof Harmonie can also trigger measurements or controlother activities.

With our client-server concept it is possible to simulta-neously record and analyze the stored data, wherebyit is of no importance whether the system is operated

    manually or via a network.

si++Workbench is the new intuitive software for soundand vibration analysis from Akustik Technologie Gtt in-gen.

With si++Workbench, all activities from the measure-ment to the print-out can be performed within a singleapplication on your computer with great effectiveness.Your own calculation rules can be defined in a clearly

arranged screen form. si++Workbench enables you togo from the measurement to the printed measurementlog with only two mouse clicks.

The si++Workbench software is ideally suited to theHARMONIE and MSX16 mobile systems.

    Intuitive operation

    1. Sett ing the channel properties. Current measuringrange and level are shown in the units of the sensor.

    2. Determining the recording length and setting the

triggers (level and r.p.m. values)3. Selecting whether time data of the recording or the

results of a real-time calculation such as third-octave spectra or level are to be stored. The recor-ding is entered chronologically into the list ofmeasurements.

    4. An overview of all measurements is presented, where selections for further processing can bemade.

During the recording, the selected analyses appear inreal time and the data sets are automatically added to

    the list of measurements.

si++WorkbenchModular Acoustic Software Package for Real-Time Analysis and Postprocessing

When changing from theanalysis to the documentati-on window, results are immediately displayed with asuitable layout as a print preview, i.e. the print-out willappear exactly the same as the presentation on thatpage.

If necessary, the presentation can be changed with the

layout editor. Changes can be saved as a new layoutor printed out immediately as new documentation.

si++Workbench contains the new si++ documentationmodule siDoc2, where further information can be inte-grated together with the plots in pre-designed layoutsor custom layouts can be designed. Under Windows, graphics can also be exported via the Windowsclipboard. The si++ Project Management module isavailable as an optional extra, making all relevant datainstantly available.
