Report on SWACCHTA PAKHWADA

We Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Computer Application, Lonavala conducted

Swacchta Pakhwada from 1st to 15th September, 2016. The students of MBA cleaned campus

area under the Swacchta Pakhwada.

These types of activities will help the students to understand the importance of cleanliness. The

Blood Donation camp 2014

Activity Description: The blood donation camp was organized in SIBACA on the occasion of republic day; the

students and faculties were actively participated in the camp and donated the blood

voluntarily.

Tree Plantation:

SIBACA has arranged Tree Plantation Programme on 15th

August 2013 after Flag Hoisting near

STES Adate Canteen. Dr. Parag Kalkar sir & Honourable Chief guest Mr. Khurjekar Sir

inaugurated the event & principals of all the other Institutes of Sinhgad Lonavala Campus,

Teaching & non teaching staff and students were present there for tree plantation. About 20 tree

plants were planted by guest, teaching, non teaching staff & students.

Activity Description:

On 9th

Aug 2016, a Guest Lecture was organized for MBA I year admitted students of

Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Computer Application, Lonavala. The

lecture was conducted by the RMO Dr Shraddha Yadav on Health and Hygiene and how

takes personal care in Lonavala environment. She briefed the students about the concept

related to Health and Hygiene focusing on personal hygiene and diseases caused due to it.

It was an enlightening session as she shared real life experiences & told the students

about the importance of Health and Hygiene. At the end of the session she interacted with

students. It was a learning & interactive session for the students where she answered all

the queries put up by the students satisfactorily.

Learning Objectives’:

• To understand the ways for Good Health

• To learn about causes and cure for personal Hygiene

Highlights of Activity:

Dr. Shraddha Yadav RMO RHTC Lonavala shared real life experiences & told the

students about the importance of Health and Hygiene specially required in Lonavala

NIRBHAY KANYA ABHIYAN

The students of SIBACA, Lonavala had participated in the NIRBHAY KANYA

ABHIYAN on 18/01/2016 at SMT. Kashibai Navale College of Education and Training

(B.Ed.)

Under this program the session on how to defense at ourselves for girls was delivered.

India” – Opportunities & Challenges

National Conference on “Digital India” – Opportunities & Challenges was organized by

SIBACA on 16th & 17th October 2015 at Lonavala.

The National Conference was inaugurated by Mr. Sanjeeb Patjoshi –Director: VAMNICOM,

Pune. Dr. Anil Nagtilak (Convener) delivered the welcome speech & brief introduction about

the National Conference. Dr. Shailendrakumar Kale – Director-SIBACA felicitated Mr.

Sanjeeb Patjoshi. Dr. M.S. Gaikwad -Principal -SIT & Campus Director- Lonavala Campus

was felicitated by Dr. Anil Nagtilak. All the head of Institutions, Faculty Members, Participants

& Students participated in the National Conference.

Mr. Sanjeeb Patjoshi –Director: VAMNICOM, Pune enlightened all the participants on the

current issues concerning Digital India – Opportunities and Challenges and related topics which

would contribute substantially in the forthcoming Digital India Initiative by Government of

India.

All the head of Institutions, Faculty Members, Participants & Students participated in the

National Conference.

Majorly research papers were presented by participants from Industry, Academics, Research &

Students. They all contributed valuable thought to the theme of the National Conference,

“Digital India”

Valedictory function was scheduled on last day i.e. 17th October 2015 where Certificates were

distributed to all the paper presenters by Dr. Shailendrakumar Kale, Dr. John Peter, Dr. Ashutosh

Gadekar & Dr. Y.S.Patil. Dr. R.M.Patil Convener -National Conference summarized the

conference and proposed vote of thanks to all the Guest, Participants, Faculty Members, Students

Volunteers.

2 Days National Conference on “Global M-Commerce” – Opportunities & Challenges was organized by

SIBACA on 7th & 8th October 2016 at Corporate Training Center (CTC), STES, Lonavala Campus.

The National Conference was inaugurated by Dr. Ashok Nagarkar–Senior Scientist- Department of

Science and Technology Pune. Dr. Rajendra Bhadale (Convener) delivered the welcome speech & brief

introduction about the National Conference. Dr. Shailendrakumar Kale – Director-SIBACA felicitated Dr.

Ashok Nagarkar. Dr. M.S. Gaikwad -Principal -SIT & Campus Director- Lonavala Campus was felicitated by

Dr. Sachin Borgave. All the head of Institutions, Faculty Members, and Participants & Students

participated in the National Conference.

Dr. Ashok Nagarkar–Senior Scientist- Department of Science and Technology Pune enlightened all the

participants on the current scenario of Global M-Commerce – Opportunities and Challenges.

Dr. Vandana Rohakale, Dean –SKNSITS (E&TC Department), STES, Lonavala gave Insightful deliberations

during the Inaugural Function of the National Conference.

Conference.
