Single Door configuration/POEOn-line

Power and communication data is provided with one cable from the PoE switch. The Data and Power is split at the controller side allowing the controller to communicate in real time back to the server and allow power for one lock and a reader.

Single Door configuration/POE/Off-line

In the event of failure from the PoE switch. The IC500IP controller will switch to its standalone operation buffering up to 4000 event transactions. A standard 7Ah lead acid battery can provide power to the controller reader and Maglock for approx 6 hours.

Input monitoring configuration/POE/Off-line

IC1604 POE solution, will provide monitoring for up to 24 inputs and 64 relay outputs by make use of different expansion options.

Cost effective option to consider

A consideration should be made for the option of a wireless option for law traffic doors that are not high security. Wireless hub is installed near the door within 3-4 meters and the rest is done with an electronic cylinder installed at the door itself. No need for cabling, maglocks, request to exit, etc. This will also save energy compared to constant power draw.
