Map WidgetWhat is it?

• Add a map into an App.

• Mark key locations into the world map.

• Use different marker icons called as pin.

• Clicking on a pin will open a bubble with info about the location on the device.


App VersioningWhat is it?

• The build number is auto generated on every app publish, so that users may differentiate among Apps having same major/ minor numbers. e.g. Version 1.0 Build 1, Version 1.0 Build 2.

• User can also manually set the major and minor version numbers while publishing an App.

• Users can better manage the App versions.

• This was previously a free form field that need to be updated by user on every publish. Now easier to use, since users were being forced to provide value.

• Rating widget: • Can be marked as required, so user never skips providing the

input. • In case the rating value is imported through a REST API, it can be

marked as Read Only so that imported values can’t be changed by device user.

NFC: Users are now allowed to add more than one NFC widget to an app.

YouTube: User can add unlisted videos in SOTI SNAP. • These videos don’t show up on searching YouTube,

but will work if one knows the exact URL.
