SIMILAR GENRE OPENING

The opening begins by displaying the production company's indent/logo animation, in this case its Paramount Pictures.

They use a unique way of displaying the credits in the opening. Instead of standard text on screen they show their credits on poster’s or written on the back of a mans jacket, to fit the urban rock style.

The whole opening sequence consists of one moving shot, completely flowing almost making it feel like a POV shot, making the audience feel like they are walking into a concert.

On its way various credits are integrated into the environment, including the title in red neon lights

The camera makes its way to the concert area, reminding the audience the theme and genre of the movie. There are now more traditional credits on screen since the main characters are now on screen and the story is being focused on.

The main character goes overboard on his performance by stage diving, the audience don’t like their band so they leave. Then the opening ends, it leaves on a problem, making the audience want to keep watching
