1. What's New in AIG• Any previous version of AIG cannot be updated to version 19.1 due to massive changes regarding the

installation, initialization and handling of sensitive information. For instructions on how to migratedata of previous installations (e.g. mapping) to the new version, refer to the Active Integration -Migration Guide.

• The installation of AIG and its components is now done using Deployment Center. For detailedinstructions, see in the Active Integration - Installation Guide.

• All communication of Basic Gateway Service and Gateway Service needs to be authenticated. Thisrequires the completion of a new initialization process. For the sake of security, read the sectionInitializing AIG in the Active Integration - Installation Guide very carefully before starting AIG forthe first time.

• To enhance security and respect all access rights, the features to edit job code or upload files in theBGS Admin UI has been removed.

• Security has been improved to protect data against unauthorized access. Therefore, credentials toconnect to any external enterprise application are no longer stored in the mapping directly, butmanaged by the Basic Gateway Service centrally. Consequently, all credentials required to process themapping have to be stored previously using scripts.

• Using TLS with AIG is now more comfortable, as the needed libraries are now used by default, i.e., thelibraries do no longer have to be renamed before configuring TLS.

• Credentials of AIG users imported from and verifying against an LDAP can now be used for anyauthentication in the BGS or GS, not only for the Admin UI login.

• The access to log files can now be restricted depending on the AIG role of the user.

• Several minor bugfixes to enhance stability and performance.

2. What's New in CLM4T• The Active Workspace WebDV can now display AsPlannedBoP work order data from SIMATIC IT (for

TargetTypeName AffectedWorkOrders) in a similar form as the Dataview for Teamcenter Rich Client. The template t4clm installs a basic stylesheet to enable this. The stylesheet must be adapted tocustomer needs and to the version combination of Active Workspace and Teamcenter accordingly.

• The token extraction mechanism for OAuth authentication to the SIMATIC IT servers has beenreimplemented in a platform-independent way. This allows installation of CLM4T on all supportedTeamcenter platforms, but requires some changes in the connection configuration. See and InstallCertificate in the Active Integration - Installation Guide for details.

• The configuration of the URL(s) of the SIMATIC IT servers has been moved from the TCL mapping to"Configuration/Communication Channels" in the Admin UI and must be configured independently forevery Gateway Service. See in the Active Integration - Installation Guide for details.

• Adaption to the new Material App in SIMATIC IT 3.0 required some changes in the CLM4T mappings. For details, please see the SIMATIC IT UA DM Gateway for Teamcenter - Configuration Guide.

• Synchronization of the Teamcenter plant structure with the new Equipment App in SIMATIC IT 3.0 isnow possible. For details, please see in the SIMATIC IT UA DM Gateway for Teamcenter -Configuration Guide.

• The template-based mappings in the 150% transfers have been restructured in a way so that thecustomer-editable part of the mapping only contains the data or attribute mapping, whereas the realtransfer is part of the RFDT and can no longer be changed - to facilitate future upgrades. Moreover thestructure of the mappings has been streamlined to eliminate the second-level and third-levelnamespaces. For details please see in SIMATIC IT UA DM Gateway for Teamcenter - ConfigurationGuide.

• A new sample workflow allows to transfer a Teamcenter CollaborationContext object creating aSIMATIC IT UA DM masterplan object with catalog operations. This masterplan can be used in ERPorder creation instead of an AsPlannedBOP. For details, see in SIMATIC IT UA DM Gateway forTeamcenter - Configuration Guide.

• A new script named clm4t_create_work_order_header.tcl has been added that allows tocreate a SIMATIC IT UA DM work order (AsPlannedBOP-based) from the Admin UI. This allows tosimulate an ERP system in CLM4T-only scenarios and can serve as an implementation template forcreating work order headers in other ERP integrations. See Create WorkOrderHeader in SIMATIC ITUA DM in the SIMATIC IT UA DM Gateway for Teamcenter - Configuration Guide

• Minor adaptions to SIMATIC IT 3.0 in the mapping: The OperationCategory field for Operations andStepCategory field for Steps get populated with the Teamcenter type name (with an optionalmapping in clm4t_custom_parameters.sd), the SIMATIC IT dataset type "WorkInstruction" wasreplaced by "Dataset" and the BatchId field in the work order header gets populated by a random UUIDunless specified by ERP.
