The 100k and 55k Silverton Ultra Marathons, held on August 11, 2018, run through the majestic San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado and include over 11,000 feet of climbing. High alpine trails, golden foliage, sweeping views of Colorado’s largest mountain range, and over 50 miles of single-track trails are just a few of the highlights that make these races special and attractive to top-tier runners from Colorado and around the world.

Renamed this year from Silverton Double Dirty 30, Silverton Ultra Marathon is entering its third year and now offers two race distances -- 100k and 55k . The Silverton Ultra Marathon racesboth benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado. To date, over $23,000 has been raised for this special organization and this year the goal is to raise $30,000 for the organization through a combination corporate sponsorship and fundraising efforts by the runners. Many opportunities at various levels are available for your company to support the Silverton Ultra Marathon races. We engage with our sponsors for several months prior to the race with happy hour events, training runs, informational race emails, promotional support, and so much more!

Megan Finnesy is the founder and owner of Dirty 30 Mountain & Trail Running and has been producing trail racing events since 2009. Her goal has always been to create a top-notch experience for the runners, while giving back to the race communities. Megan is an accomplished ultrarunner and has participated in many trail races, including Hardrock 100, Cascade Crest 100, Bear 100, and TransRockies. Her popular Golden Gate Dirty 30, now in its tenth year, sells out months in advance and continues to receive high praise:

to-one relationships with volunteer mentors. Each time a child is matched with a positive role model, we start something incredible—a relationship built on trust and friendship that can blossom into a future of unlimited po-tential. Research has shown positive relationships between the “Littles” and their “Bigs” have a direct and measurable impact on children’s lives.
