Just an hour west of Calgary and 10 minutes east of Banff National Park in Canmore, Alberta, Silvertip provides its guests with breathtaking views, stunning décor and elegant table settings. The cuisine is Mountain Wilderness Fusion – local fare and attitude paired with the finest ingredients and recipes from around the globe.


THE GAZEBO

Available May through October, say your “I do’s” with lush valley views, and the stunning Mount Rundle as your backdrop. One of the most desired wedding settings in all the Bow Valley, The Gazebo combines natural beauty with the convenience of proximity to your wedding reception. With the ability to accommodate small intimate weddings as well as grand gala events of up to 220 guests, you can be assured your ceremony under the mountain peaks will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Start and Finish TimesThe Gazebo can be reserved for 3 hour increments to allow for set up (1 hour prior to ceremony), ceremony time (approximately 30 minutes) and mingling and pictures (1½ hours).

TransportationWe are pleased to provide golf cart transportation for the wedding party and for those who require assistance to The Gazebo on a complimentary basis. Please arrange this ahead of time with your Silvertip Resort events manager

At the CeremonyThe Gazebo is equipped with minimal power, allowing your DJ to play music at your ceremony. We also welcome “unplugged” musicians (harpist, string quartet, etc.) to perform during your ceremony. Flower petals, confetti, rice, etc of any kind is strictly prohibited due to our location, and proximity to wildlife.

Inclement WeatherThe weather in the mountains is known for its dramatic, unpredictable changes. It is required to have a backup ceremony plan in the event of snow or rain on your special day. Silvertip can arrange for your ceremony to be held indoors. This space will be rented with the understanding that we will require 3 hours from the time the Ceremony is complete to re-configure the room to your dinner set up.

During this time access to the room is limited to Silvertip staff only. It is the responsibility of the client to place all decorations (cake, centerpieces, etc) once the room has been reconfigured.

Ceremony RehearsalsCeremony rehearsal times and location will be confirmed 30 days prior to the wedding day based on availability. If your rehearsal dinner is booked at Silvertip your rehearsal time and space will be confirmed at the time of booking.

PhotographsOnly approved locations at Silvertip Resort are available for photographs. Locations may only be used for photographs if they are not on the golf course or will not interfere with play. Please discuss your on site photography plans with your events manager in advance.

THE PAVILL ION

The Pavillion represents the true rustic elegance of Silvertip Resort with its exposed timber frame ceiling, soaring Rundle stone fireplace, and breathtaking views of the 18th fairway backed by Mount Lady MacDonald.

Your guests can also enjoy the adjoining private patio for some fresh mountain air. The Pavillion can accommodate up to 220 people for your ceremony and reception.

THE S INCLAIR

A stunning room flooded with natural light, and views of Mount Rundle from the balcony, The Sinclair is an ideal space for both ceremonies and receptions up to 60 guests.

Feel like you have the resort to yourself with this private second f loor location complete with welcoming landing ideal for your guest book and gift table, elevator, washrooms, and a smaller function space ideal for a kids room or separate buffet space.

Possibly the most charming of all the venues at Silvertip, The Pocaterra is the perfect choice for the most intimate weddings (up to 30 guests). The Pocaterra feels light and airy thanks to the exposed timber frame and a large private balcony with stunning views of Mount Lady MacDonald, Three Sisters as well as dramatic fairways of the 10th and 18th holes.

Available from October to April, Upper Stoney’s is the ideal setting for weddings of up to 40 guests. Beautiful views of Mount Lady MacDonald and the golf course are unparalleled. If the weather agrees, open the french doors to the Juliet balconies and let the clean mountain air in. Upper Stoney’s features exposed timber frame, and a built in marble counter bar. The warmth of this space creates a refined rustic ambiance that is sure to impress your guests and create lasting memories.

Timbers Clubhouse is open year round, and winter is a spectacular time to be in the mountains. With multiple indoor ceremony locations you can have your choice of serene Rocky Mountain backdrops, framed by walls of windows, or a crackling fire in a soaring Rundle stone fireplace.
