SILVER CREEK NJROTC NEWSLETTER September
On September 10th, 2011 Silver Creek NJROTC Drill at Independence High School. Silver Creek took part in the parade and competed against other ambitious schools. An Outstanding performance was executed by Silver Creek but unfortunately did not win in there presentation. On the lighter side, CPO/Ben Westmoreland Has won 1st place in the Armed Drill Down. Another event took place at the track where Silver Creek took home the gold again, the relay race was a close call but our cadets pushed themselves and win first place. A small celebration took place after the event when our cadets went on stage to preformed “California Girls” by Katy Perry, shown below.-C/PO1 Richards

2. To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert, and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.
3. To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce.
4. To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guardhouse or the quarterdeck than my own.
5. To quit my post only when properly relieved.
6. To receive, obey, and pass on to the sentry who relieves me, all orders from the commanding officer, command duty officer, officer of the day, officer of the deck, and officers and petty officers of the watch only.
7. To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
8. To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.
9. To call the corporal of the guard or officer of the deck in any case

Preparing For Fleet Week
On Friday September 30th and Saturday October 1st. Silver Creek NJROTCand Mount Pleasant MCJROTC Participated in an event called Day in the Park located on lake Cunningham.“Each Cadet showed hard work and dedication on both days” Said C/ENS CisenerosMore than 400 Hours was placed both days and at the same time, all cadets had extreme fun.

Each year, Silver Creek NJROTC goes to and event called San Francisco Fleet Week. In this event, Cadets lay back, watch the Blue Angels, Buy lots and lots of food, and of course, Having a lot of fun.
