•During David Pflieger’s tenure, Condé Nast Traveler ranked Silver Airways as among the top 10 airlines in the country as part of the publication’s annual Reader’s Choice Awards in November 2013. Executive leadership at the Fort Lauderdale-based airline attributed this recognition to the hard work put forth by all 900 members of the Silver Airways family and considered the nod a great honor. The company expressed appreciation to its customers by offering a special low rate on tickets.

•Earlier in the year, Silver Airways was named the 2013 Regional Airline of the Year by Air Transport World, or ATW, on the basis of widespread expansion and success during its first two years in operation.
