At the outset of the 1990s, five men decided to make their dreams come true and build the world’s best

motorboats for the demanding conditions experienced in the North. To this end, they left the company they

were working for and set up their own. Their very first prototype was awarded with the Best Trolling Boat

prize. Since then, their collection has grown into an impressive fleet.

These days, Silver boats are a common sight, attracting a loyal following in both their homeland and

increasingly throughout the world. Not that it’s any wonder, since Silver is in a design class of its own:

durable and comfortable, the world’s first AluFibre™ boat offers the best features of a marine aluminium

hull and a reinforced plastic interior.

When you buy a Silver boat, you know you’ve acquired an enduring, quality product that makes boating

simple, carefree and fun. In fact, we make sure purchasing a boat couldn’t be simpler.

Unique AluFibre™ constructionUnique AluFibre™ construction

No boat in the world is quite like a Silver. A sturdy marine aluminium hull and interior module of

reinforced plastic make Silver boats exceptionally durable, comfortable and safe. The hull and

interior contain practically no materials that could absorb water and rot. All Silver boats have a

dash of beauty and the beast in perfect harmony to give them the best possible ride and hand-

ling – even in highly challenging and diverse conditions.

• All the aluminium hull seams have been

expertly welded.

• The sturdy marine aluminium hull

withstands bumps and knocks better than

its reinforced plastic equivalents.

Aluminium is also a material that’s 100%

recyclable.

• All models feature welded lift strakes,

which effectively reduce friction and ply

these boats more effectively through the

water. They play a significant role when

the boat is raised to glide on top of the

water. The boat heels less when driving

and is drier than its counterparts with a

smooth bottom. Due to the lift strakes, the

boat climbs for faster planing, which saves

on fuel.

• The optimal V-shape of the bottom cuts

effectively through the waves and

provides a steady ride, even under highly

challenging conditions

• A solid stringer system optimises hull

stress by distributing pressure evenly. The

sturdiness and stability of the hull form a

firm framework for the impressive

reinforced plastic interior module,

allowing for complete concentration on

aesthetics and comfort in the design.

• The side gunwales are filled with

non-water absorbing polyurethane foam

that makes the hull extremely stiff and

also effectively dampens hull noise.

Page 5: Silver 2013 Brochure

5

• Easy to look after, Silver’s almost

seamless reinforced plastic

structure is both exquisite to look

at and simple to clean. The

number of seams has been

minimised to prevent the

accumulation of dirt and other

impurities. All corners have been

rounded with safety in mind. The

interior module also significantly

reduces hull noise.

• The wear-resistant, colour-

durable interior material does not

fade as a result of years of solar

radiation. The interior stays cool

even during the hottest of days.

• The lockable splash-proof storage

facilities keep supplies and

equipment dry, even in the most

inclement weather. Each element of Silver design is

driven by uncompromising adherence to

principles of “practical boating”. Impressively convenient

design is rounded off with superb quality, ensuring comfort and ease of use.

On the outside, Silver looks like an exceptionally streamlined aluminium craft,

while on the inside it’s a boat made of elegantly designed reinforced plastic.

Within all this is the secret of Silver’s attraction: its unique AluFibre™ construction.

Silver - a stable and quiet wave rider

The Silver Beaver is a small, spirited utility boat for pleasure cruising and practical use.

The bow with an exceptionally high carrying capacity is an excellent feature for cast

fishermen, and up to five people can relax and have a good time aboard the surprising-

ly spacious boat. The craft comes as standard with seats for everyone and storage

compartments for long objects. The Beaver is easy to access thanks to a bow railing

that’s integrated into the side railing. In terms of its comfortable and easy-to-use

features and facilities, this boat is of course a genuine, high-quality Silver product.

What’s more, you can transport this light little package on a trailer with a capacity of

750 kg and no supplementary brakes.

This brand new craft for the 2013 season sets a new standard for boats less than

five metres long that are driven from the stern seat. It offers the best ergonomics

in its class with even the driver being supported by a comfortable backrest. The

usability and visibility of the gauges, sonar and plotter cater to practical boating

perfectly. The practicality also extends to the sizeable open space in front of the

windscreen, which can transport even larger items and is ideal for lure fishing.

Thanks to its low weight, the Fox can be transported on a trailer with a capacity of

750 kg and no supplementary brakes.

Silver Fox 485, the brand new craft for the 2013 season, sets a new standard for

boats less than five metres long. It offers more drivability, usability, looks and room

for you and your family. The protective cockpit ensures safe and comfortable travel,

especially when the boat is complemented with a partitioning door, especially

functional for the boat’s class. Comfort has been emphasised by including a sizeable

rear backrest, and by providing good legroom for the passengers and driver with the

new console structure. In the ergonomic design of the driver’s seat, special attention

has been paid to the correct placement of the controls. Thanks to its low weight, the

Fox can be transported on a trailer with a capacity of 750 kg and no supplementary

brakes.

The Wolf, which was launched in 2012, represents a new generation of meticulously

finished Silver boats in the five-metre category. With a focus on the important details of

economy, handling, comfort and safety, its product development responded to key needs

in family outings and fishing alike. Wolf offers complete ease of boating. This economical

boat, without rivals in its size class, moves with a unique softness that you can rely on.

Wolf is extremely steady and does not heel even in faster turns or when boarding. In

addition, its exceptionally high side walls and large cockpit make it even easier and safer

to move about in the boat. There are railings and handles for every passenger close at

hand. Steps and railings have been designed to ensure easy and safe embarking and

disembarking. The Wolf also provides you with exceptional carrying capacity while still

maintaining great handling and speed with the heaviest of loads. As a special finishing

touch, the ingeniously shaped bottom of the Wolf keeps splashes away from the cabin.

This newcomer for the 2012 season achieved sales success from the word go. The

craft combines unique features with excellent finishing and economy. The sizeable

windscreen with a door crosses the entire boat, bending elegantly along the sides of

the boat and providing efficient cover for all passengers at the stern from foam-crest-

ed waves. There is plenty of legroom for passengers at the front as well as at the

back. The Wolf BR is one of the most spacious boats in its class. It comes as standard

with fully padded bucket seats. In addition, the driver’s seat has a flip-up front, which

enables driving the boat while half-seated or standing. The attention to detail

includes a protected space under the console for the safekeeping of the boat’s

documents and the personal belongings of the pilot and passengers. The co-pilot’s

console can be equipped with a CD/radio.

The centre-console variant in the Hawk line boasts a colour scheme, which leaves a

beautiful and easily-maintained aluminium section under the grey-painted upper

section. This model is a fisherman’s dream come true that can be accessorised to suit

multiple purposes from casting to trolling. Thanks to the single-seat centre console,

the boat is sufficiently spacious for all kinds of activities without ever compromising

safety and comfort. As in the BR model, the bow section is protected by a reinforced

plastic cover, which provides ample room for boarding and moving about the bow of

the boat. The cover conceals a rope box where ropes attached to the cleats can be

conveniently stowed. The handling and seaworthiness of the boat equal the excel-

lence of the BR model.

A revamped member of the extremely popular 2012 Hawk family with the same

bottom shaping found in previous Hawk models. Of course, its handling and seawor-

thiness are also of the same top class. The Hawk BR comes as standard with a fixed

duplex door between the consoles to provide effective wind cover. In addition, the

ergonomics in the cockpit are excellent, and there is a dedicated place for a plotter.

The broad range of standard equipment includes hydraulic steering, a fixed 105-litre

fuel tank and padding for the stern seat. Optional extras, such as sun mattresses and

a water-skiing bracket, can be purchased as optional extras to increase the level of

comfort. The Hawk BR is an ideal choice for holiday boating, fishing, transport and

enjoyment of all recreational boating.

The centre-console Shark CC excels where swift and safe transport from one location

to another is required – be it moving to another fishing spot or scooting over to your

summer home in the archipelago. It is an unbeatable transport boat and, thanks to

its exceptional seaworthiness, you rarely need to worry about the weather.

The sizeable windscreen of the dark grey centre-console covers two fully-padded

bucket seats that make for a soft ride even at high speeds. Unobstructed passage

around the console is an excellent feature, particularly for cast fishing and loading

cargo. The standard equipment includes, for example, hydraulic steering and cush-

ions for the stern seats. The wide selection of accessories allows you to pick the ones

you like and customise the boat to suit your purposes with a targa arch or downrig-

ger holder, for example.

The test winner Silver Shark BR spearheaded the development of Silver’s third generation

range. The Shark Br raises practicality to a whole new level. Boarding the boat is made

much easier thanks to the smooth bow cover, separate steps and well-positioned railings

and handles. The passenger area has been designed so that those sitting on the back

bench are also protected from the wind. Noise and wind flow has effectively been reduced

with the shaping of the windscreen, the partitioning door in the seating area, and the high

sides, which means that you can talk when you drive. The driver, in turn, can enjoy an

ergonomic comfort quite uncommon in boats of this size. The positioning of the plotter and

controls, along with the off-shore seat featuring a flip-up front make the Shark BR easy to

handle even when driving the boat standing. The comfort and convenience is topped off by

diverse storage space and the optional Igloo cool box that also serves as a seat.

At over six metres in length, the Silver Eagle CC is the off-road vehicle of the seas: a

practical boat designed for rugged use as well as large cargoes and open water areas.

It’s no wonder fishing enthusiasts and guides who regularly negotiate the waves – not to

mention those who need a good liaison boat – have embraced the Eagle CC.

The spacious interior offers lots of room to move around for cast fishermen and it’s also

very handy for transporting loads. The clean grey aluminium sides and console increase

the practicality and easy maintenance of the craft. The transom can accommodate one

90–150 hp motor or two 60 hp outboards. The advantages of the twin engine installa-

tion really come to the fore on fishing trips. Making your way out to the best fishing

waters is speedy and efficient with two motors, while one motor is quite enough at the

fishing spot itself without a need for an auxiliary engine.

The test winner in the category of large aluminium open boats, Silver Eagle BR 650,

has been specifically designed for archipelago and coastal use making this boat a

multipurpose liaison craft. The large windscreen providing good protection against

the breeze, sizeable splatter-proof storage facilities placed in the shelter of the seats

and separate stowage for a canopy are all solutions that aim at effective boat

handling under varying conditions. Not only sufficient transportation capacity and

sturdiness are required of a liaison craft but functional interior as well. In the event

of rain, the Eagle BR’s cockpit can be quickly covered with an optionally available

canopy. On the other hand, the boat offers splendid facilities for sunbathing. Its

standard equipment is also highly comprehensive, including adjustable and fully

padded seats, for example.

Designed for large lakes and coastal conditions, the Eagle WA is a superb craft for

fishing as well as liaison and pleasure boating. The 630 hull slices through the waves

to provide a stable ride in even the choppiest waters. The boat boasts plenty of room

too, as the angles of the stern seats have been bevelled to maximise the available

space. For larger groups, the stern seat can be converted to cover the entire width of

the boat with padded foldaway seats that are available as accessories. The cabin that

effectively extends the boating season features berths for two. Optional extras

enable the boat to be easily transformed into a superb trolling vessel.

The extension of the boating season well into the autumn is something practically

every dedicated boater dreams about – especially if their summer cottage is on an

island or late-season fishing beckons. The Cabin 650 is a walk-through boat with a

cabin that offers not only Silver quality but adequate protection from the wind and

rain as well as a long list of standard equipment. The durability of marine aluminium

and easy care of reinforced plastic, in addition to many other practical aspects,

increase its general comfort. The stove, refrigerator, water sink and chemical toilet –

all available as optional accessories – enable longer journeys as well.

After all, boating is a relaxing leisure activity and it’s important to choose a boat that

you and your guests will enjoy regardless of the weather. The seat cushions are

conveniently coloured in grey and black.
