Hiking in the Dragonja valley A visit to picturesque Istrian villages

with ancient paths between vineyards

and olive groves and the bewitching

scent of forest solitude.

The path is excellently marked. We first

ascend St. Peter, continuing to the village

of Nova vas and then towards the wide

slope, where the age-old village of

Krkavče is located. We descend from the

village to the Dragonja valley and return to

the starting point along the ancient paths

Lipizzaner horses show The performance of the classical

Spanish Riding school is an

unforgettable experience.

Lipizzaners horses, the gracious “four-

legged aristocrats” that proudly continues

more than 400-years-old tradition of

breeding the famous white horses.

Predjama Castle The legend of knight Erazem

Lonely Planet cover-featured Predjama

Castle. The famous Castle built together

with the rock has been known as an

invincible fortress for centuries – when

you see it you will understand why.

Among the most interesting sights are

the living quarters, the chapel and the

dungeon. The fascinating objects on

view include weapons, oil paintings and

a Pietà dating from 1420.

Skocijanske Caves

The Škocjan caves have an extremely

complex system of cave passages over a

total length of 5.8 km. With their depth of

163 meters, Velika dolina and Mala dolina

charm every visitor. The finest view of

both valleys with the natural bridge and

the cave that separates them is from an

observation point. The caves, with an

immense underground gorge and halls,

are the beginning of the Škocjan

underground system. The caves probably

have the biggest cave hall in Europe,

measuring 12,000 square

Ljubljana is a beautiful city. Irrespective of

the weather and time of the year, it has

plenty to offer to visitors. It boasts an

extraordinarily large number of sights,

picturesque areas and pleasant nooks and

crannies. The tour include a funicular ride

to the Ljubljana Castle.

Trieste and Miramare Castle

Piran The Slovenian Gem

Piran is a very special, precious city. It is

the best preserved cultural monument of

Slovenian Istra. Each time one looks at

Piran is overcome by feeling of surprise.

Take a closer look at its architecture,

influenced by the Venetian Republic.

Throughout time, Piran maintained the

clustered medieval structure narrow

winding streets, houses huddled close

together, rising in cascades, the contact

with the sea, numerous squares and

churches.

Hrastovlje The Fortress Church

The marvelous 15th-century frescoes in

Hrastovlje’s Romanesque Church of the

Holy Trinity rank at the very top of

Slovenia’s medieval mural artwork. The

most remarkable among them is the

Dance Macabre that illustrates the

powerlessness of both poor and rich

before Death.

The church is worth visiting also for its

architecture and setting.

Motovun In the Heart of Istra

Not far from Pula rises Motovun. Its

attractiveness lies in its medieval

ambient (the walls are formed by one

ring form and two semi-rings) and view

of the vineyard slopes and forest. The

wall was build in the 13th and 14th

century. In the middle of walls is located

the palace, the terrific tower, city hall

and the church. During 14th – 17th

century were it connected with couple

of new parts of city. The walking part

has a great view.

Motovun – Builted by the Giants

Hrastovlije the Fortress Church

Pula and Brioni island Fantastic experience, fun and culture

in a natural paradise

Pula is a fascinating place to visit with it's

well preserved Vespasian amphitheatre

and historic waterfront.

After a light lunch and a comfortable boat

transfer we will arrive to the Brioni island.

A three hour visit of the area includes the

Safari-national park, museum,

archeological and ethnological collection

including ruins of a Roman settlement. .

Bled lake and Castle

After a 2 hours transfer you will reach Bled,

often mentioned as the pearl of the Alpine

region due to its emerald-green lake, a

church on the island in the middle of the

lake and a medieval castle from the 11th

century on a cliff above the lake.

After a romantic sail to the island you will

visit the little Church where you can make

a wish playing the wishing bell, built in

honor of a young widow.

To get the best view, you'll visit Bled

castle. But spare some attention for the

chateau itself. With its cone-shaped

turrets, yard-thick walls and lofty parapets

it's something special.

Porec and Rovinj Istria's most scenic coastal towns

Rovinj is the most beloved town in Istria,

a top sight in Croatia, and one of it’s most

romantic spots. With its pastel-colored

houses clustered together on steep

winding streets and topped by a Venetian

bell tower, you would think you were in

Venice.

The highlight of Sightseeing in Porec

centre are the marvelous Euphrasian

Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

for its gleaming mosaics.
