Silhouette furniture has been import ing and manufactur ing weatherproof outdoor and pat io furniture for the hospita l i ty and retai l sector for over 20 years whi lst maintaining a very “hands-on” management sty le . Our phi losophy is to br ing a unique customer-or ientated approach to the contract marketplace through cost e�cient product ion, uncompromis ing consistency of qual i ty , and adherence to del ivery deadl ines .

S i lhouette Furniture is known for providing qual i ty , des ign-or ientated le isure furniture to customers such as Legacy Hotels and Resorts , Protea Hotels , Sun Internat ional , F i rst Resorts , Hospita l i ty Property Fund, The City Lodge Group, Tsogo Sun and others in the hospita l i ty industry . We furthermore suppl ied other independently owned establ ishments in South Afr ica and across our borders in Botswana, Zambia , Z imbabwe and Mozambique.

Our local fac i l i ty is based in Mt Edgecombe, Durban and suppl ies most of our ranges of a luminium furniture . Our factory which manufactures our cane & wicker furniture as wel l as our range of outdoor teak furniture , i s based in Indonesia . Our strengths are our �exibi l i ty of design through a large array of �nishing opt ions , substant ia l product ion capacit ies and successful meet ing of del ivery deadl ines . We have the capabi l i ty to produce �nished i tems f rom drawings and samples . We welcome vis i ts to our factor ies in Indonesia and China and the transparent development of the customers own designs .

�nishing options.Whatever your creative vision may be, it can be realised through Silhouette Furniture’s �nishing options. The ability to customise can easily be the di�erence maker for consumers and therefore any item can be customised through an aluminium frame colour option speci�ed by you. Choose from our array of weave colour options, table top options and fabric coverings.

All of our �nishes have been UV stabilised and tested to withstand harsh weather conditions. Create the enchanting outdoor and entertainment space you truly love.


socialempowerment.For the past 18 years, Silhouette Furniture has been supporting the local community through job creation. We have built up a team from the KZN South Coast, who have been trained and skil led to weave polyethylene rattan. Unwoven frames and materials are delivered to a team leader within the community who will distribute the pieces between the weavers. Once the frames are completed a few days later, they are returned to the Silhouette Furniture premises for quality control processes. Payment is done based on the quantity of items that have been successfully completed.

Because no machinery or electricity is needed for the weaving component of the manufacturing process, it is easy to outsource the work to the community. Being able to support the community through this process have gained mutual respect, a stable income to the weavers and a quality guaranteed product returned to the Silhouette Furniture Factory.

Our weavers are able to earn a steady income without the daily expenses of traveling costs and stil l being able to take care of their families at their homes. Silhouette Furniture is extremely proud to be associated with such a dedicated and motivated team in our community.
