USESSikaplan® WP Trumpet Flange is used as a sealing ele-ment for anchor penetrations through PVC membranesystems. Alternatively, the product can be used as in-jection flange for PVC membrane systems.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONSAPPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS

For usage as sealing of anchor penetrationInstalled Sikaplan® WP sheet membrane must be dryand clean. Installation according to valid MethodStatement and standard detail drawing for basementand tunnel waterproofing with Sikaplan® WP sheetmembranes. Cut a hole into and through the water-proofing system at rock bolt area. Clean the area to bewelded (free from any dust, oil, grease, etc). Place andwatertight weld the Sika trumpet flange to the tunnelwaterproofing membrane. Tightly close the trumpetshaft around the rock anchor using Sikaflex® PU seal-ant and jubilee clips.For usage as injection flangeSpotwise welding of base part on sheet membrane byheat welding tool, fixing of hose nipples into pipe byclamping with steel clamping ring. Fixed hose nipplesto be connected with injection pipe.

LIMITATIONS

This product must only be used by Sika approved ap-plicators.
