• Throughout history, there has been a battle of words between the Egyptians and the Indians, claiming the rights for the invention of Trigonometry.

• The Egyptians have sent their smartest warriors to fight it out with the Indian equals.Avanti needs to send a warrior to represent India and we have set up a contest to identify the most capable individual who can defend India’s crown of Trigonometry.

• There will be 5 internal rounds ( ROUND 1-5) between you all and after each battle one warrior will advance to the final round

Rounds 1 to 5 – Last Person Standing!• All students will initially be standing in the classroom

with voting cards.• There will be a trigonometric ratio on the screen, with

four options (positive, negative, zero, undefined) • Students will get exactly 30 seconds to finalize an

answer, and everyone will vote simultaneously after 30 seconds.

• Those who get the answer wrong will be eliminated and will sit down, and the remaining students will attempt the next question.

• This will continue till there is a last person standing! This student will qualify for Round 6 (explained on next slide)

• Then Round 2 will start with everyone standing again, and so on for 5 rounds till we have 5 unique winners.

Round 6 – Battle of the WARRIORS!

• There will be questions in this round. Each question will have points for the correct answer, and point for the incorrect answer.

• The warriors will stand in their respective places, and will not be allowed a paper and pen, and will only have voting cards. They will be given exactly seconds per question.

• Voting is optional at the end of seconds.• The teacher must create a scoreboard on the

whiteboard to track the leader throughout the game.

• All other students must attempt the questions too for practice but they must maintain silence and honor the game.

For the Teacher

• There are 50 questions for the first 5 rounds. If the 5 rounds get completed before the 50 questions are exhausted, do not continue Round 6 with the next question in sequence. Move to slide 110 for the questions for Round 6.

• In case the 50 questions get exhausted before we have 5 winners, move to Round 6 with as many winners that were identified so far.
