Signature Pad Installation Guide ** Note: The Topaz signature pad should be disconnected from your computer prior to installing software.

1) Place the Topaz Systems Inc. SigPlusSE Electronic Signature ActiveX Software CD into your CD/DVD drive. The setup program will start automatically.

2) If the setup program does not start automatically. Browse to your CD ROM drive and double-click the file named “sigplus.exe”. If you are not set to view file extensions, the file will be one of two files named “sigplus”. You want the one with the computer icon.

3) When the “Welcome” page appears, click [Next] to continue.

4) When the “Read Me File” page appears, click [Next] to continue.

5) When the “Choose Destination Location” page appears, click [Next] to choose the default installation location and continue with the installation.

6) When the “Determine Tablet Model” page appears, Choose “T-L” and click [Ok] to continue.

7) When the “Choose the Tablet” page appears, select the option outlined below. Click [Ok] to continue. We are using the T-LBK766SE Signature Tablet.

8) When the “Select the Connection Type” page appears, select the option outlined below. Click [Ok] to continue. We are using the HSB (USB type).

9) When the “License Agreement” page appears, click [Agree] to continue.

10) Installation of files begins

11) When the “Ready to Configure Software” dialog is displayed. Click [Ok}.

12) When the file installation is complete the “Demo OcX.exe” page will appear. Select the “No” option and click [Ok] to continue.

13) When the “SigPlus Documentation Directory” page appears, click [Ok] to continue.

14) When the “SigPlus Plug-Ins, Tools, and Examples” page appears, click [Ok] to continue.

15) When the “Installation Complete” page appears, click [Finish] to complete the software installation.

16) You may now plug in the Topaz eSignature pad to an available USB port on your computer. The drivers for the eSignaturePad will load automatically when the device is plugged in.
