Shuttle XPC forms basis for top-class gaming PCs

Shuttle XPCs use the same chipsets and Desktop components as standard large-format PCs. Despite the small case dimensions, the listed XPC models support large-format dual-slot graphicscards with lengths of up to 26.7 cm (for the H series) or 27.3 cm (for the J series).

Does the built-in power supply unit support my graphics card?

Shuttle uses efficient power supply units that are specifically tailored to themaximumpower requirementsof an XPC and provide the precise performance that they effectively need. For instance, a 300 Wsupply unit has thecapacity to power anATI RadeonHD5770graphics card. Shuttle XPCs offer reliableandstableoperationwith thecomponents shown in the relevantcompatibility lists (see:global.shuttle.com).

If the power consumption of a graphics card exceeds 75 W, the energy requirement cannot bemet via the PCI-Express slot alone and the power supply unit needs to provide one or even two additional power connectors coupled to relevant graphics cards. You therefore need to check thepower connectors and the compatibility list before your purchase to find out whether the desiredgraphics card is compatible.
