Advancement of Nanotechnology and Nanoparticles in Diagnosis and Drug Delivery System for Cancer Treatment Shreya M. Modi & Yashvant Rao Centre for Nano Science, Central University of Gujarat Gandhinagar Nanotechnology and its advancements have given new direction to the medical science. The drug delivery system is highly integrated and requires various disciplines, such as chemists, biologist and engineers, to join forces to optimize this system. It is greatly observed that nanoparticle are promising tools for the advancement of drug delivery, medical imaging and as diagnostic sensors. There are many nanodevices are used in the drug delivery e.g. Micelles, Vesicles, Dendritic polymers, Liquid crystals, Nanocapsules, Nanosphere, Nanowires, Nanotubes, Nanorobotes, Quantum dots e.t.c.
