These four young talented singers went through a 2 stage audition process to be part of the opening ceremony and carols show tonight. I think you’ll agree that the talent we have in this City is outstanding and we look forward to hearing more from a number of young singers who have already wowed us tonight. Paul: up next is a name and face we’re all very familiar with, Mr Marty Worrall. Marty has had a big year, he was one of the backing artists on the voice and has just completed a national tour with the Madden Brothers. He is also the vocal director for this event and I’m sure you’ll agree he’s done a great job training and mentoring the singers.
Natasha: joining Marty for the next song is Kerri-Anne McKittrick, a well-loved vocalist from the Hunter Valley. They’ll be performing a Christmas favorite and one you can all join in with - Joy to the World.
Paul: Put your hands together for Marty and Kerrie-Anne
