I want you to practice the lyrics with your family and teach them the song this week. READ Psalm 66:1-4 “Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.” We serve a good God who is worthy to be praised. This scripture reminds us to make His praise glorious and that even all the enemies know how awesome He is. He does great things and all the earth bows down to Him. As we are about to wrap up our Multiply teaching and move into the commitment phase, I can’t wait to see how God shows Himself faithful and how good He is. He can do miracles and He is greatly to be praised. Let’s shout it out and shout it loud that He is GLORIOUS!!!! PRAY Lord, I want to shout Your name so the world can hear how amazing You are. You are good and worthy to be praised. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Did you recognize part of the song? The bridge of the song is from the hymn “I Surrender All”. J.W. Van DeVenter wrote this hymn in 1896. DeVenter became a Christian at a young age and had a
degree in art. All his life he had struggled with whether to use his talent for the Lord or not. It was at a friends house that he realized that he needed to surrender it all and live as an evangelist and live for Christ. DeVenter says when he surrendered his life, he found he had more talent that the Lord had hidden in his heart and was released when he surrendered to Christ. God has a plan for your
life. An amazing plan that we can’t even imagine.
PRAY Lord, help me to surrender my life to you. I know you have the best plans for me.
