Shot 4: Mid shot

Used to make the audience feel awkward and uneasy. Generate a startle.

From Ryan’s face tracking out into a long shot, this will reveal a little more of his surroundings. Audience will realise that he is on the ground.

The shot will then cut to a shot of a wall which Ryan will move into. This gives the impression that he is sitting up.

The shot will cut to a mid shot from a completely different angle this will show Ryan standing up. There will be a combination of effects here to create a camera effect. This should give the audience the impression that he is being watched, but leaves the question, does he know it?

Shot 8: Close-up

This shot assists the audience in establishing Ryans movement. Window included in the shot to emphasise the time of day.

This shot shows Ryan looking into the mirror, here we can see his expression, used to get the audience to ask questions.

Shot cuts into a midshot, from over the shoulder shot of the same position. This is combined with a series of cut tracks and continuity editing. Gradually becoming closer and revealing a secret.

The shot will finally cut to a close-up of Ryans face where using VFX, from what look like bugs will crawl up Ryan’s face.

Shot 9: Mid shot/Long shot

This shot will show Ryan leaving the room once again, establishing his movement. Once again this shot will be from a high angle, emphasising Ryans danger, and that he is looked down upon, and creating the impression that he is being watched. More effects used to create a camera effect.

Shot 13: Continuity Editing Mid Shot

This shot combined with effects will establish Ryan’s movement, and will also be blurred out to create the atmosphere of him fainting.

Shot from a high angle again, emphasising his danger and creating the atmosphere that he is being watched. Effects required on this shot.

The shot cuts to a mid shot that tilts upwards slowly. This shot is used to establish that Ryan is in pain and something is going to happen.

Combining shots from Ryan’s hands and legs to show that he is now on the ground and unconscious.

Shot 12: Mid shot

The scene cuts to a shot of a mid shot of Ryan’s face, gradually tracking in to a close-up. Combining effects to create a scare, warping Ryans face as he opens his eyes and scare the audience.
