It is a method to find out whether a suspect

discharged a firearm recently, or not.PRINCIPLE:• Whenever a firearm is discharged, some

gun powder residue always contaminates the hand that holds the weapon.

• The tests detects the presence of nitrates & nitrites in the powder residue
