Rules for Filming Words:

1. Quiet on set: Make sure there is no background noise2. Rolling: Camera and audio is on and recording 3. Action: Actor begin the dialogue or their actions 4. Cut: Everything stops

Use 180 degree rule whilst filming a conversation scene Rehearse beforehand so all actor know what they need to do and were the camera

will be positioned Remember to keep a positive working environment Remember to use the clap board before shouting action, so audio is easier to

sync in post Test equipment beforehand to make sure everything is working Always film more than you have to, it will make editing much easier Don’t stop filming until you feel you have got the best shots you wanted Give you self-enough time to film for a short film around 2 hours for each

shot Make sure nothing is in the Frame you don’t what there Make sure the camera settings are correct before shooting:

1. 24 Frames Per Second2. Manual Focus 3. ISO: 100 – 8004. Aperture: small as possible

Don’t worry too much about colour you can edit it during post production Always have the storyboard on set with you, to refer too If the conditions are windy remember to put a dead cat (Windshield) on the

microphone Make sure Memory card is empty before filming Make sure actor know all there lines Make sure camera is clearly focused on the subject, except if it is intentional

News reporter is informing the city about an event that have happen 11 hours ago, the event is the plot for the rest of the story.

Make sure everyone knows were the exits are and they are lit up so there clear to see. Make an assembly area outside were people meet up. Take registrar

Put up sign telling there is a recording session in progress and also close blind to make sure actor doesn’t get distracted

Scene 2 (Field) Part 1 Plot Summary of Scene

Jason is chasing Lewis, a low life criminal who the police are looking for, the chase leads them a few miles outside the city and Lewis flees into a wood. Alex stops and calls Ollie to give him an update and for information, then he follows Lewis into the wood.

Problem Precautions

Dogs Dogs could run into shot as wells as bark running the audio and visuals. Also could distract the Actor or crew member

Film during a quiet time of day when the dog walker don’t come out. And if we do spot a dog hold filming until it has gone

Public Could obstructed public walking, get in there way or could trip on filming equipment.

Film at a quiet point in the day and if someone come walking hold filming until they are out of the shot and away from the equipment

Rain Rain could ruin the camera equipment but also the shot as I don’t what rain in the film

Check the forecast the day before. But also bring umbrella and waterproof to protect equipment

Hay fever The tall grass could causes anyone with hay fever to start to sneeze, eyes crust over and throat to phlegm up.

Make sure anyone who suffers from hay fever has taken anti-histaminas before the shot.

Cold Actor and crew could get cold whilst filming and also during breaks.

Make sure everyone has warm cloths to put on during takes. Also provide hot drinks such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate to keep them warm.

Scene 3 (Wood) Part 1 Plot Summary of Scene

Lewis searches for Jason who he know is behind him, Jason pops up behind Lewis and shoots him. Suddenly Alex Appears. The two begin a conversation. Alex revels his name to Jason, Jason realises this man killed his wife so tries to tackle him to the ground, but Alex trips him and steals his gun. Jason confronts Alex about killing his wife, Alex says it was for a wider cause. Jason comes to the realisation that to become better he need to kill Alex, so pull a clip out from his pocket and begins to shoot at Alex.
