Mbps. – Gigabit speeds would need 156 MHz of spectrum. This
amount is simply not available in the traditional Licensed Microwave Bands.

– “Link can work up to 5-7 km”– Effective link distance and
subsequent availability is affected by Free Space Loss (FSL), Oxygen Absorption & Loss Caused by Rain
– Use simple calculator for predictions availability for given ranges
• Typical for Moscow 1 km (V-band) / 3,1 km (E-band) for 99.99%

as FDD
– FDD - full data capacity always in each direction
– FDD offers significantly lower latency (transmit and receive functions simultaneously)
– TDD means higher packet jitter – performance limited (packets retransmission)
– TDD more complicated to transfer sync data
