SCOPE
This is course on lecture, discussion anddemonstration designed to provideawareness, knowledge and appropriate skillsin compliance with the International Ship and
Port Authority (ISPS) Code for all shipboardpersonnel. This course has been developedwith the objective of improving security inthe operation of ships and/or sea craft. The
requirements of this course have been largelyderived from the requirements prepared bythe International Maritime Organization(IMO) which were adopted in December2002.

national and international regulations andpolicies regarding maritime securityawareness
