Dear Ms. Smith

In response to your call for comedy sketches for the new production, Stupendous, I am submitting 2 scripts for your consideration, together with a treatment containing a breakdown of the cast and logistical details for each sketch.

A word about me: I have written many comedy scripts but never actually submitted, this being my first time, and have always wanted to be a part of comedy writing ever since I used to watch sketches on TV when I was younger, my favourite being Little Britain. So after reading and analysing every script and sketch I have thought of I think these two could have the potential to be on your show. So after perfecting and reviewing the script I have submitted, I think it would be a brilliant sketch for Stupendous and would suit the type of comedy value you are looking for.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my submission, I look forward to hearing your response.

Yours sincerely

Charlie Starkey
