SHERU CLASSIC

1st International Professional level fitness exposition, which includes

Professional Body Building Championship for men and ProfessionalFigure Championship for women in India. The price money is awhopping 1,50,000 USD which is a firstever in Asia and in fact the3rd highest in the world! In Simpler words, Olympics of BodyBuilding is coming to India as Sheru Classic to create history.

A grand event like Sheru Classic will be on lines of the numero uno

competition in the world Mr. Olympia. The only other such contest isThe Arnold Classic which Sheru is confident is at par with SheruClassic once it takes off in September.

Jay Cutler :

IFBB Professional Jay Cutler is bodybuilding's most

recognized and personable athlete. He is IFBB 2010,2009, 2007 & 2006 Mr. Olympia, IFBB 2002, 2003, &2004 Arnold Classic Champion and IFBB 2001, 2003,2004, 2005, & 2008 Mr. Olympia Runner Up.Jay was born August 3, 1973 in Worcester,Massachusetts. Worcester is centrally located in

Massachusetts, about 50 miles west of Boston. Jay grewup in a small town called Sterling, which is a suburb ofWorcester County. The youngest of seven (3 brothersand 3 sisters), his father was a superintendent of thehighway department and his mother worked in finance ata military base. His childhood was an active one: he

enjoyed riding my bike and playing neighborhood gamessuch as kick the can and hide and seek, he rode ATV'sand worked on the family's farm which consisted of pigs,goats, chickens, and cows. Jay also worked in mybrother's concrete business from early on and developedquite a physique for himself. This physique was the

foundation for his bodybuilding career.

Phil Heath :

Prior to bodybuilding, Phil Heath was a member of theUniversity of Denver (Div.1-A) mens basketball team (1998-2002) as a point/shooting guard for the Pioneers. Thisexperience taught Phil many key lessons such as a hard workethic, self-discipline, respect for others, humility andaccountability. He found that even though his collegiate career

wasnt as successful as his high school career, he still couldachieve greatness through the many lessons he learned.Being a basketball player was every kids dream growing upin his neighborhood, and he happened to love it too.Phil enjoyed practicing for hours on end, and as he got betterand better, he learned the value of hard work andperseverance. Phil was rewarded by DU for all of his hardwork and discipline, both academically and athletically, with afull student-athletic scholarship.

Branch Warren:

Branch Warren first competed in 1992 when he won theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) Teenage Mr. Americacompetition. His first National Physique Committee (NPC)event was the Teenage Nationals, where he won again.His first IFBB event was at the 2004 Night of Champions

competitions, where he placed 8th. His first Mr. Olympia was in2005, where he placed 8th. The following year, in 2006, hecompeted in his first Arnold Classic for a 2nd place finish. Whileslipping to 7th place in 2007, he improved to 4th place in 2008and 3rd in 2009, while winning the title of "Most Muscular".Branch Warren placed 12th in his 2nd Mr. Olympia contest in

2006. Branch Warren also placed 1st at the 2007 New YorkPro.

Kai Greene :

Kai Greene was born July 12th in Brooklyn, NY. At the age ofsix, he became a ward of the State of New York due to aproblematic home environment. For the next ten years, hewould be in transitional placement, moving from several foster

homes to institutional placements. It was within thisenvironment that Kai found weight training as his refuge. Deepinside of his soul, there resided many talents that few peoplewere aware of, most importantly his burning desire to be avisual artist. These two worlds would eventually meet andinterconnect as his own body became the subject of his study.

Kai became his own living model, and he utilized his ownphysique to gain a greater understanding of space andmovement, creating works of art that became increasinglydetailed and complex over time.

Dennis Wolf :

Dennis Wolf, also known as the Big Bad Wolf, is a tallerIFBB professional bodybuilder from Germany. Although he isGerman, he was born October, 1978 in Tokmak, Russia, andhe spent his early childhood in Russia. Although Dennis willtell you he is 511", his incredible mass, wide clavicles, andgeneral X-frame appearance makes him look like a giant. Hegoes up to as high as 300 pounds in the off season and

usually competes at around 260-270 pounds.

Alfonso Del Rio :

Alfonso Del Rio was born in Tarifa, Spain. At 20 years old hemoved to Madrid where he went from power lifting toprofessional bodybuilding. Genetically blessed plus 10 yearsof hard work in the gym, Alfonso is excited to compete in theSheru Classic 2011.

Victor Martinez :

Victor Martinez was born July 29, 1973, in San Francisco deMacoris, Dominican Republic. At an early age, his familymoved to New York City. The family resided in theWashington Heights community of Manhattan, where Victorwas raised and attended school. He has seven sisters andtwo brothers and more than 31 nieces and nephews. Healso has two sons, Jarred and Justin, and two daughters,Victoria and Zayde.During his teen years, Victor was always involved incompetitive sports, e.g. baseball, basketball and football,which were a natural transition to weight training. His firstserious training partner was Stephen Dickerson, who sawhis potential to become a serious contender in the sport ofprofessional bodybuilding. Steve was instrumental inpersuading Victor to pursue professional bodybuilding as acareer.

Michael Kefalianos :

Michael was born in August 1970 in Lagoudi which is in thebeautiful island of Kos, Greece. He is one of 12 brothers and

sisters. He worked from a young age, mostly withstonemasonry and he also served in the Greek army which iscompulsory in Greece. After the army, at about the age of 20 hestarted weight lifting, initially as a hobby and to get stronger.In 1998, after showing tremendous progress, Michael beganentering local Greek bodybuilding competitions like the Mr.

Aegean and Mr. Greece, which he won multiple times. A fewyears after he won the Wabba world championships, as aprofessional, in Athens. It was there where bodybuildingorganizers discovered Michael and began inviting him tocompetitions all over Europe.In 2009, after placing 3rd in the heavyweight division of the

Arnold Classic Amateur competition, as an Australian citizen,Michael received his pro card from the Australian IFBB. Hequalified for the 2009 Mr. Olympia in his very first professionalcompetition. Since then, Michael has competed in more than 10different pro shows placing in the Top-5 in most of them. He isranked among the top professional bodybuilders in the worldand is proudly sponsored by supplement company MHP.

Varinder Singh Ghuman :

Varinder Singh Ghuman will represent India in the first SheruClassic 2011 in Mumbai. He earned his Pro Card status earlierthis year in Australia by winning Amateur Australia andcompeted in the Australian Grand Prix. He will be the first to

represent India in the world famous U.S Arnold Classic and willset the standard for Indian Bodybuilding. He has now beenselected on the Indian team for an Asian championship and forthe world championship in 2010 as captain of the Indianbodybuilding team.Varinder recently premiered as a Bollywood star in the

November 2010 release of Kabaddi Once Again, and will soonappear in the upcoming movie,Fateh The Victory.

Nicole Wilkins :

Nicole Wilkins was Born in Royal Oak, Michigan. Her familymoved to Sterling Heights, Michigan when she was four, andshe has lived there ever since. Nicole has been an athletesince childhood: she started ballet at the age of 5, and shestarted competitive gymnastics at 8. She continued to compete

for 13 years, despite a serious knee injury at 15, followed by amore serious re-injury at 16.It was during her recovery from these injuries that Nicole firststarted adding weight training to her routine. As she learnedand developed, her interest in bodybuilding grew as well. Thisinterest eventually led to an interest in overall wellness, a BA in

Wellness, Health Promotion and Injury Prevention, and ofcourse her success in bodybuilding competition.

Cheryl Brown :

Cheryl Brown started working out in high school while trainingfor track and cross country, and even competed in her high

school's annual bodybuilding competition. Then, after severalyears of not competing, she made a New Year's resolution tocompete in her first show. She lived up to her resolution, and inAugust 2008 won first place in the master's overall division ofher first NPC show. Cheryl then set her sights on morecompetitions, and especially on earning her pro card. She

eventually joined IFBB Fitness Pro Shannon Dey's TeamBombshell.

Heather Grace :

Heather Grace recently earned her Pro Card at the 2011 JrUSA Show in Charleston, SC. Her immediate competition planincludes: the Jacksonville Pro Show, the Dallas Europa Super-show, the Phoenix Pro Show, and the Tournament ofChampions, in the hope of earning a rookie qualification to theOlympia.

Heather is a Personal Trainer with Rare 4m Training in Denver,Colorado.

Erin Stern :

Erin grew up riding horses, and for fun would run next to herhorse and jump fences with him. Her parents suggested she tryout for the track team in high school. She went on to competein the high jump, pentathlon, and heptathlon for the Universityof Florida, and was a Jr All-American and Co-Captain of the

team while at UF. Still competing in the high jump in 2008, shemissed the Olympic Qualifying Standard in the high jump by 3cm. This near miss prompted her to try and be competitive in adifferent sport: Figure. She earned her IFBB Pro Card bywinning the Overall Figure Championship at NPC Nationals in2008, which was her third show! Erin captured her first title as

the 2010 Olympia Figure Champion.She has a BA in Environmental Policy from UF, and is currentlya Realtor, contest prep consultant, and a writer.

Candice Keene :Candice Keene is an IFBB Figure Pro competitor andfitness model. She started competing "on a whim" in 2008,and quickly fell in love with the sport. That first competition--the All South Championship, which she won first place

overall--was a national qualifier, and since she was alreadycontest-ready, she decided to compete in the NPCNationals in Atlanta, Georgia two weeks later. Despite notknowing what to expect, she took 1st in her class and came2nd in the overall in that show as well (the beautiful ErinStern took 1st) and earned her pro card. That was the

moment that Candice realized her passion for thebodybuilding

Courtney West :

Courtney West is a Houston-based personal trainer, fitness

model, and professional figure competitor who is extremelypassionate about health and fitness. As a role model in theindustry she constantly encourages people to implementfitness as a way of life by creating and maintaining a positivemindset and improvising to keep workouts effective andinteresting.

Ava Cowan :

Already a certified personal training specialist from the

renowned Fitness Institute in Boca Raton, Florida, Ava beganto pursue work. Realizing her potential, she decided to turn herpassion for a healthy lifestyle into a career and discovered herpath as a figure competitor. She was able to harness her rocksolid work ethic, knowledge of exercise science, and intensepersonal passion, to move herself forward at a breakneck

pace.Cowan began claiming titles. In August 2005, she entered theNPC Southern States Figure Championship and won theOverall Figure title. She went on to compete in and win severalWorld Championship Titles. As her trophy cabinet began toswell, Cowan decided to post head shots on a popularmodeling website and was an instant hit, landing placementson the pages of the fitness worlds most respected publicationsand online portals.

Sabrina Taylor :

Sabrina began her athletic career at the very young age of 3when she got into gymnastics. She competed until the age of15 where she made it to the Olympic caliber of competition.Sabrina continued her training during her 10 year service as aUnited States Air Force enlisted woman. Sabrina competed inpower lifting events setting several records and winning

numerous awards for her weight class. In 2004, Sabrinacompeted in her first NPC fitness competition bringing homethe overall at the Emerald Cup. Several months later shecompeted in her first national level show, the USAs, and wonher class for her pro-card, becoming one of the quickestwomen to earn her pro-card in IFBB history.

Sabrina currently works as the Area 14 Fitness Centermanager at the United States Marine base in Oceanside,California, Camp Pendleton. She is the coach of the VarsityCamp Pendleton bodybuilding and power lifting teams.

Ellena Reidie :

Ellena Reidie (Tsatsos) is one of the selected few IFBB FigureProfessional Athletes in Australia.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, this dynamic young lady has taken thesport of Figure to a new level, by showing many of her peers whatdetermination and believing in your self can truly accomplish.Ellena took the figure world by storm in 2007,in the space of a fewmonths she competed in 4 different federations claiming all in all 12 titles,8 first places within Australia, New York and Miami. After such asuccessful first year at competing Ellena set the bar higher and decidedto compete with IFBB-NPC in 2008 in order to compete with the best.It wasn't until 2010 where Ellena won the state championships, followedby the nationals and winning the overall title. It was then that Ellena'sdream came alive, she was offered her Pro card in which she declined inorder to compete as a amateur at the Arnold classic in 2011.2011 proved to be a great year for Ellena, having marrying her soul mate

in a luxurious palace in India while prepping for the Arnold Classic. Sheplace 6th in what was one of the largest and greatest line ups of all timeand finally accepted her Pro Card.In her first year as a professional athlete Ellena has placed top 5 at theMelbourne Pro Show and at the New Zealand Show.Keep your eye out for Ellena as she continues her travels, competing inLA, Culver City September 10th and returning to India to compete at theSheru Classic September 24th and 25th.

Felicia Romero was born and raised in Arizona. She went toASU where she majored in Political Science and playedcollegiate softball. Now Felicia and her boyfriend own J&F

Personal Training in Mesa, AZ.Felicia has been in Muscle and Fitness Hers a variety of timesas well as featured in a Flex Magazine swimsuit issue.

Mona Muresan :

Mona Muresan was born in Romania and moved to the UnitedStates 17 years ago to escape a life of poverty. After working aseries of odd jobs, she eventually found work at the NebraskaSteakhouse in NYC where she is now the owner. Mona began hittingthe gym hard to escape the pressures of owning a restaurant. She

soon discovered she had the genetic potential and personal drive tobecome a figure competitor, so Mona trained for years, eating welland perfecting her physique.Mona began competing and quickly caught the attention of thejudges, magazine editors and photographers. She has been featuredin Muscular Development Magazine and the NY Post.
