Sherry Little Egger Colored pencil artist, Sherry Egger, who comes from a background in graphic art has continued her studies with established artists around the country and her drawings have developed into fine art. Throughout her studies she has explored a variety of mediums and became proficient in many. She has shown regularly in coastal areas of the south and holds memberships in many local and national associations. Sherry's work has been featured in Colored Pencil Magazine. This year she was invited by them to write a technique article that was published in the October 2014 issue. In addition her painting “Vanishing Breed” was published in CP Treasures III, an international compilation of colored pencil masterworks. Sherry thoroughly enjoys drawing birds as well as wild and domestic animals and pets. For inspiration she visits Merritt Island NWR and Harris Neck NWR to enjoy water and song birds in their local habitats. The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and the Catty Shack are other favorite spots for photographic opportunities. Vanishing Breed A popular instructor, she is comfortable with many different artistic mediums and her classes consist of not only pencilists but also those who paint in oil, acrylics and mixed mediums. Her emphasis on fundamentals, values, and strong contrast bring both beginning artists as well as those who have been painting for years through her doors. Creativity is her strong suit and she is constantly experimenting with new techniques, new concepts and different mediums. recently became the manager of the Artists' Annex where she also teaches classes. She gets great pleasure in watching students grow as artists.

Sherry is an avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and Best Friends Animal Society.
