ShepardResidentialCollegeCONSTITUTIONWethemembersofShepardResidentialCollegeestablishthisconstitutiontopromoteadynamicintellectualandsocialenvironmentandtoencourageasenseofcommunityamongmembersoftheCollege,theaffiliatedfacultyFellows,theCollegeStaff,andtheResidenceHallstaff.Inordertothrivefromthediversityofthemembers,ShepardResidentialCollegeshallprovideopportunitiesthroughacademic,social,culturalandphilanthropicprogramming.ArticleI:TheCollegeA.ThemembersoftheCollegeshallincludeallpersonssatisfyingfinancialandselectivityobligationstheCollegeStaff,ResidenceHallCoordinator,andResidentialAssistantsshallbeconsiderednonvotingmembersB.MembersshallhaveonevoteinallelectionsandreferendaC.FinalauthorityinallCollegemattersrestswiththemembersoftheCollegeD.Allvotingmembersmaybeofficers.However,onlyinhousemembersmaybeExecutiveBoardofficersunlessotherwisespecifiedE.Quorumshallconstituteofallvotingmembersofanygovernmentbodyorcommittee1.ThisquorummustincludethePresident,theVicePresident,and/orthecommitteehead2.NovotemaybetakenwithoutquorumArticleII:TheExecutiveBoardA.TheExecutiveBoardshallconsistofallelectedmembersandappointedmembersasindicatedinArticleIV,RHC,andCollegeStaffB.ShallberesponsibleforupholdingandpromotingtheprinciplesandmissionoftheCollege,aswellaslaunchingsocialactivitiesC.ShallconveneonceaweekD.AllpresentvotingExecutiveBoardmembers,excludingexofficiomembers,getonevoteE.AvotemaybemadebyExecutiveBoardmemberseitherinpersonorbyphone/videocallF.MembersoftheExecutiveBoardwhoaredeemedunexcusedfromtwomeetingsduringonequartershallmeetwiththepresidentandvicepresidentabouttheircontributionstoExecBoard.Athirdunexcusedabsenceshallentailameetingwiththefacultychair.InthecasethatthePresidentand/orVicePresidentisthememberinquestion,thetwounexcusedabsenceswill
