Our YA 2017 Summer Reading Program: Build a Better World was a hit with over 65 teen participants.

Thank you to our SRPL teens for choosing to read and support summer reading at the library. We will have a sample of the titles you read on display. You can look at your reviews in a binder in the Teen Room. By reading this summer you have taken steps to Build a Better World.

We also appreciate the contributions of our over 70 Children’s Summer Reading Volunteers, 30 Book Buddies, Game Helpers, Ice Cream Samplers and Teen Tech Tutors who contributed to “Building a Better Library Community” here at Shelter Rock Library.

Volunteers and Summer Readers can pick up Commendation Letters and Reading Certificates in the Teen Room.

• To register for a program you may call 248-7363 ext. 4 OR you can register in person in the Children’s Room. Preference will be given to Shelter Rock Library card holders.

• Craft and Food Programs fill up quickly. Please register as soon as possible for these programs. We do not maintain “waitlists” for our programs.• For programs such as Tots Night Out, etc. siblings are welcome but the craft/activity is for the registered child only.

• Programs require that participants be within a certain age range, these guidelines are used to ensure a pleasant experience for all participants. Age requirements will be enforced, thank you for your understanding.

• Please be advised if you are 7 or more minutes late for a program/event you may not be able to participate and your spot will go to a standby participant.
