Bourne2sing is a 30 strong Bournemouth Male Voice Choir that raises money forgood causes in the area. We are delighted that they are coming to the ShelleyTheatre for one night only to sing in aid of raising funds to build more ladieswashroom facilities!

The repertoire includes light and popular songs such as Any Dream Will Do,I Dreamed A Dream, The Wonder Of You and American Trilogy. The concert willinclude special guests.

Last year 50 brave people in Boscombe partied the night away with 200 millionothers across the world to the sounds of European pop music on the big cinemascreen, fortified with cocktails, complimentary scorecards and flags. This yearwe have more of the same but sadly no bearded lady. The party starts at thebar from 7pm until the broadcast ends with the screening starting from 7.50pmin the theatre.

Mark is a professional classical guitarist who studied guitar performance withCarlos Bonell who gave a sell out performance at Shelley Theatre last year. Markhas toured across the UK and is bringing his repertoire to Boscombe for thefirst time.

They’ve formed orchestras from strangers on the London Underground,Edinburgh Fringe, Glastonbury Festival. Now in 10 days they will travel to10 different towns in 10 days and 10 venues including Shelley Theatre andcreate a pop-up orchestra in each! Will they succeed? Come find out in thiscomedy talk/presentation followed by a one-off concert with the one-offpop-up orchestra, featuring the music of Buswell & Nyberg, popular tunes &movie themes and a performance with a local special guest.

Eddie Redmayne inFilm: The Danish GirlFriday 27 May 8pm £5/£9.50*

The true love story of Danish artist Einar Wegener and his wife Gerda as hemakes the pioneering journey to becoming a woman, Lili Elbe, in the 1920s.Redmayne and Vikander's performances received widespread acclaim andnominations for all of the major acting awards this season. This year SISATA is making the bold move away from Shakespeare to tackle theclassic novel Tess of the d'Urbervilles, adapted and directed byCharmaine K Parkin. 1938. Sol and Hilda play in the Frankfurt Sinfonietta. They're in love. So what?Well, Hilda’s father is a Nazi Official, and Sol is, of course, a Jew. As Sol's family isscattered by deportation, his mother gives him fatal advice:“Survive. At all costs” Thus, through assuming Aryan identity, Sol relinquishes hisroots, his love, his art, and his baby sister Anja. Can Hilda, by herself posing as aJew, save them all from the grim Nazi show-camp that is Theresienstadt?
