Notes:

1. This arrangement came in manuscript at a Recorder course

many years ago. My compliments and homage to the (now

unknown to me) original arranger - it seemed a pity not to share

this wonderfully sonorous arrangement with a wider group of

players.

He (she?) should feel free to contact me if necessary.

I have added what seem to me to be suitable dynamic markings -

feel free to change them if you feel differently.

2. Pachelbels original composition was for three parts (violins)

over a basso continuo, which almost certainly expected a

keyboard harmony in addition to the written bass line. This

arrangement compensates for the lack of this additional harmony

by using five players.
