Multiply by 1… Multiplying by 1 is the easiest
multiplication you can do Any number multiplied by 1 is the
same number you started with 1x7=7
1x9,638,852,943 = 9,638,852,943
(you get the same number you start with)

… If you can add the same two numbers
together you can multiply by 2 When you multiply by 2 you double
your number 2 x 2 = 4 2+2=4 3 x 2 = 6 3+3=6 4 x 2 = 8 4+4=8(Do you see the pattern?)

Crazy Eights! Like 7, eight does
not have any easy tricks either!

Nine Hold both hands up in front of you with your
palms facing you. When you multiply by a # bend down that
finger. (count left to right until you get to that nunber)
Then read the number left to right
2 x 9 = 182
1 Imagine the 2 folded down
8 fingers left

10 This is easy! It’s like multiplying by 1 and adding a
zero to the end… And we already know that 1 x any number
is that number
5 x 10 = 50
