Shavuos Bingo By The Torah Umesorah St. Louis Teachers’ Center

Grade Level: Elementary Description: This Shavuos themed Bingo game doubles as a review of key terms and concepts! Each 3x3 Bingo board contains 9 Shavuos words and/or phrases. Play the typical Bingo way by calling out a word and players cover the word on their boards. Or, take it up a notch and make it more challenging by reading a question aloud, and asking students to first find the answer on the board and then cover it. Your students can play this during class and then take it home for a fun Yom Tov game! Included are complete, print-ready Bingo boards, as well as blank boards and separate words. Choose the latter option if you would like to make an activity with your students of cutting and gluing the words onto the boards. What to Download:

2 different colored sheets of cardstock for every 4 bingo boards

OPTIONAL: laminating machine Instructions:

1. Print either the filled-in Bingo board or the blank one on 1 piece of cardstock. 2. Cut out the 4 boards. 3. For both options, print a second page of blank boards. Cut out each square from

this page (36 total) to be used as chips to cover the answers. 4. If you are not using the print-ready boards: Print the page that has 4 columns of

the word list. 5. Cut out the individual words and glue them randomly onto the bingo boards. 6. If playing the typical Bingo way, print and cut out the master list of words.

7. If playing by asking Shavuos questions, print and cut out the question page. 8. Play Bingo by picking a word and asking students to find it on their charts, or by

picking a question and asking students to find the answer on the charts. 9. OPTIONAL: You may choose to print an extra copy of the master list of

words/questions, so as to mark which ones were already called.
