Use Dropbox to Share iPad Videos

This document will show you how to save your video projects to Dropbox and share the folder with your teacher to turn it in. This method is great when you have a file that’s too large to email. You upload to dropbox and then just send your teacher a link to view it instead of the large file.

If you don’t already have the Dropbox App, download it from the App Store.

Open it and either sign in or create a new account

Make sure your video project has been saved to the camera roll.

In the Dropbox app, touch the share button and then upload file

You can pull your video from your camera roll by touching Photos (make sure you’ve saved it to you camera roll from iMovie, or whichever video editor you’re using)

Touch OK

Find your video, touch it, and then touch the upload button at the top

You’ll see your video in the file list. Touch it, and then touch the share button at the top.

Choose “send link”

You can now copy the link and paste it into Edmodo or an email, or send an email right from here.

Touching the i makes the details sidebar appear. Touch “share”

Add your teacher’s email address and choose which permissions to give your teacher (edit, comment or just view)

Then touch the check mark.

That’s it!
