ABOUT SHAREPOINT 2013 AND WHY NOW?
• 2010 platform was actually architected around 2006 to 2007
• Iphone?
• Mobile?
• Facebook?
• Most were running IE6 and Server 2003* (XP was Gold Standard)

• Server 2012 skipped SP1 and went straight to R2
