Determining and analysis the amount of colour ink that remains in the cartridge(s) and is therefore not used (usable) for printing, print head cleaning, etc :

Procedure:

• Use of default settings (Selection “photo paper” for photo prints)

• Use of Common office / photo paper

• Continuous printing

Analysis and Calculation:

Weight of used cartridge - Weight of empty (flushed) cartridge wasted ink ratio = ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weight of new cartridge - Weight of empty (flushed) cartridge

Ecological ink efficiency (%) = (1 - wasted ink ratio) * 100%
