Installation Manual

1.1 Overview

Hydraulic road blocker is applied in important area where has high security

requirement such like government building, airport, energy base, military, bank to

access control vehicles. Stop all unallowable vehicles. It can be operated by remote

controller, push button and various kinds of access control system. Main advantages are

high-frequency use, robust body, reliable hydraulic unit, good expansibility, low maintain

cost

Shallow mounted road blocker base depth is only 400mm. Such design can save

installation cost and reduce installation difficulty. Shallow amounted road blocker is the

best choice for site where there are cables, wires and other equipment in ground.

1.2 System configuration

Hydraulic road blocker includes two main parts--- power system and road blocker body.

① Power system includes hydraulic unit and control system. This is the core

of entire road blocker system. Max distance between power system and

road blocker body is 20M

② Road blocker body is mechanical structure. This parts is installed in

run-in/run-out to control vehicles.

Note：

1. Electric control part: give signal to control system to make road blocker up and

down，can be compatible with LED light, loop detector, access control system etc.

2. Hydraulic pump：It’s power unit for road blocker.

3. handle bar：Users can operate road blocker via handle bar when power is fail

3 Installation

1. Make base and embedded pipe/wire

According to installation drawing to dig hole, make base and install embedded

pipe as following step

① Installing one PVC 50 pipe between road blocker machine and power

control cabinet. Put 2 oil tubes and one RVV4*0.5 wire in PVC

② Installing one PVC 25 between power cabinet and power distributor room,

put one RVV4*4.0 power cable in PVC

③ If push button will be installed in guard room, installing one PVC 25

between power cabinet and guard room, put one RVV3*0.5 signal wire in

PVC

2. Put road blocker machine on base, fill the hole by concrete.

Make ensure the road blocker is horizontal

3. Connecting oil tube, power cable and signal wire

Products have been done ageing testing and all wire, equipment in power

cabinet are finished configuring before delivering. Wires/cable from power

cabinet to road blocker machine need to be connected in project site.

There are 2 oil tubes and one RVV4*0.5 limit line between road blocker

machine and power cabinet.

4. Other accessories configuration、debug the entire system

Other accessories includes LED lights, loop detector, infrared sensor, access

control systems
