Weather in Bhutan depends upon the altitude. In the northern parts of the country where mountains rise up to 7,000m, weather conditions are similar to arctic. Southwards, closer to India, the weather is hot and humid in the summer and cool in winter.

The official language of Bhutan is Dzongkha, while English is widely spoken.
Visiting Bhutan | VISA
Tourist visas are required and must be obtained prior to arriving in the country. A visa fee of US$40 will be charged at time of booking.
Currency
Bhutanese currency is Ngultrum (Nu.) and is officially pegged to the Indian Rupee. Also Indian Rupee is acceptable all over Bhutan except Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.
