Tank & Piping Activities include

Fabrication of Bottom/ annular plates as per drawings, Layout of Tank Bottom, supervising Bottom erection according to drawings, Construction Method Statements, and

QC requirements. Lay out and Erection of Tank Shell as per drawings and QC requirements. Maintain record of All Fabrications and Welded joints. Make sure all QC Tests are performed including MT PT, Vacuum test, Radiography and Ultrasonic tests. Check Tank Diameters, Shell Settlements at every stage as required by Standards.

Arrange and erect Scaffold for Shell Erection inside and outside the shell as required including Wind girders. Control all the materials and make sure every Item is installed as per required standard. Supervise Laying out and erection of any fittings (e.g. Nelson Studs, Deck and Roof Stiffeners, Nozzles and Sleeves,

Deck openings, etc). Plan and supervise Tank Roof Erection including Rafters and Temporary columns. Plan and Supervise Roof Raise of the tank by using Air Pressure. Plan and Supervise Tank Hydro test as per standards and perform settlement test involving Inclinometers and

Survey marker elevation checks. Plan and Supervise Tank Pneumatic Testing along with PSV’s and VRV’s. Erection on Tank Top Steel Structures and performing QC checks (Column Alignment, Verticality and Elevation

Checks). Prepare Piping Spools Shop Fabrication drawings and supervise fabrication. Supervise Fabrication and Erection of Piping Works as per drawings and QC requirements, maintain Fabrication

reports. Perform Hydro tests and reinstate pipes wherever required. Create Tool list for the Job and Procure the required Items. Make Lift Plans wherever critical Lifts are performed.

Project Description

GASCO Train-4 consists of 06 Double Wall, Umbrella Roof, Suspended Deck, Low temperature, Low Pressure, Cryogenic tanks designed to keep Butane and Propane in Liquid states, Tank Diameter is 68.6 meters and consists of 11 Plate Rings. Gross Capacity of Each Tank is 110,000 m3.

These Tanks are built as per British standards BS7777 (equivalent API 620).Each Tank has respective Structural and Piping works along with Main Pipe Rack.

Project Name Propylene Storage Tank, Borouge-2, RUWAIS

Project Description

Consists of 01 Double Wall, Umbrella Roof, Suspended Deck , Low temperature, Cryogenic tanks designed for Propylene Storage, Tank Diameter is 40 meters and consists of 10 Plate Rings. Capacity of the Tank is 28,000 m3.

These Tanks are built as per British standards BS7777 (equivalent API 620).Construction Work includes Structural installation and Piping Fabrication, Installation and Cleaning works.

Project Description

GASCO Train-3 consists of 04 Double Wall, Umbrella Roof, Suspended Deck, Low temperature, Low Pressure, Cryogenic tanks designed to keep Butane and Propane in Liquid states, Tank Diameter is 62 meters and consists of 11 Plate Rings. Gross Capacity of Each Tank was 83,600 m3.

These Tanks are built as per British standards BS7777 (equivalent API 620).Each Tank had respective Structural and Piping works.

Final Year Project Design and Fabrication of Heat Exchanger Rig

Worked on design and fabrication of concentric double pipe heat exchanger for Heat Transfer laboratory of NED University which was to be used to demonstrate different heat transferring phenomenon to students. This heat exchanger had two passes and used water as cold and hot fluid, could also be used with both parallel and counter flow conditions.
