absence of sufficient ICT infrastructure and

state patronage

Undeveloped internet market in a largely

unbanked society could not attract major

international e-commerce companies to

expand their business to Pakistan

Some local tech – savvy entrepreneurs

brought a trailer-made “click & mortar”

commerce solutions.
