The critical comment period for the State Education Department’s proposed regulations regarding "substantial equivalency of instruction" is nearly complete. The Board of Regents is required by law to read every comment sent to them during this period. Every letter counts! To make a real impact on whether chinuch decisions in NYS will be decided by Albany, or by our rabbanim, principals, and parents, we need to send a clear message of tens of thousands of comments to the Board of Regents. The regulations do not restrict comments to New York State residents. Regardless of where you live, you can register your comments.
