The goal of the SGSecure movement

1. Understands the seriousness of the terror threatand the need to do something about it.

2. Responds by taking ownership, and acquires the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, respond to, and bounce back from a terror attack.

VIGILANCE

• Imparting tell-tale indicators of suspicious intent, including:– Items left unattended

– Suspicious behaviour, such as:

• Loitering for an extended period without valid reasons

• Expressing belief that violence is justified

• Showing support or sympathy for terrorist and their causes

– Suspicious vehicles

• Circling around an area repeatedly

• Heading towards a crowd and not slowing down

• What to do when you see something suspicious: Call 999, SMS 71999 or use the SGSecure App to inform the authorities

• How we can be part of a cohesive community, and the active steps we can take to build bonds, and deepen mutual trust and respect:– Learning more about different cultures, races and religious practices

– Getting to know our neighbours better and show interests in their activities

– Do not speculate or spread rumours

No legal liabilities for representative.

No specific training requirements but must be capable of achieving the task of making workplaces safe, healthy and secure.
