The Destiny Foundation - Heralds of Destiny Promotional work.

Video Marketing and “Direct Community Fundraising” to diverse Jewish for RASHI: A LIGHT AFTER THE DARK AGES, a one-hour animated historical drama, set in 11th century France about Rashi, a Medieval Rabbi and scholar who lived just before the Crusades reign of terror. This effort was focused on educating Jewish youth about the importance of the great heros of Jewish history.

Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat center & ADAMAH: The Jewish Environmental Fellowship

Peter van Geldern and environmental architect, Darek Shapiro worked to develop a jewish youth “green” dorm and education center within the Isebella Freedman camp grounds. This design had a strong marketing element attached to the project.

Recognizing that environmental stewardship is a core Jewish value, Isabella Freedman is committed to operating our facility in ways that minimize our impact on the natural environment.

Connecting People to Peace through Service - Service For Peace is an independent nonprofit organization providing service and learning opportunities through community projects which promote transformational and sustainable personal and community development around the world.

Marks [email protected]; 201.984.3413 Orthodox Synagogue and Reform Temple in Bergen County Join Together to Inaugurate Green Energy Fair “Go Green – Save Green” — Aimed at Helping Northern NJ Community Protect the Environment, Green Homes and Save Money — Takes Place December 14, 2008

Tenafly, NJ, December 1, 2008 — Kehilat Kesher Community Synagogue, an Orthodox congregation in Englewood, and Temple Sinai, a Reform congregation in Tenafly, are joining together to sponsor “Go Green-Save Green” to help the Northern NJ community protect the environment, green homes and save money. The green energy fair will take place Sunday, December 14, 9:15 am – 1:00 pm at Temple Sinai, One Engle Street, Tenafly, NJ. “This is a perfect time for an event that helps people green their lives and save money,” said David Marks, leader of the joint effort and chair, Green Synagogue Committee at Kehilat Kesher Community Synagogue. “The economy is in a severe downturn, we’ve experienced spiraling energy costs and the effects of global warming are becoming more evident every day.” The half-day event, hosted by Rabbis Jordan Millstein and Jeffrey Fox, will provide Northern NJ residents with information on how they can save energy, protect the environment and save money in the process. Green educators and exhibitors will provide tips on reducing energy expenses including building/retrofitting homes, reducing business energy consumption and qualifying for NJ financial incentives to homeowners with solar and geothermal systems. Industry speakers include:
