SGG VISION-LITE is ideal for all applications that require maximumtransparency and unimpaired visionthrough the glass.

• External: - Shop fronts and show rooms;- Glazed areas in panoramic restaurants;- Control towers, control rooms andobservation rooms;- Screens to separate spectators in terraced stadiums.• Internal:- Display cabinets in museums and protective screens for paintings; - Display units and shop fronts;- Internal partitions (hospitals, clean rooms, control rooms, etc.);- Television studios (no reflections in front of the cameras);- Interpreter booths and sound booths(conference rooms, recording studios, etc.);- Zoos and aquariums.

D e s c r i p t i o n

SGG VISION-LITE anti-reflective coatedglass has the property of significantlyreducing the reflection of light on thesurface of the glass. To achieve theanti-reflective effect, the glass mustbe coated on both faces.

SGG VISION-LITE coated glass isobtained by magnetically enhancedcathodic sputtering under vacuum conditions, by applying transparentcoatings of metallic oxide to the glass.

- SGG VISION-LITE is available in SGG STADIPPROTECT laminated glazing, producedfrom SGG DIAMANT extra-clear glass.

- Semi VISION-LITE is the monolithic glassused for the production of SGG VISION-

LITE. It is an extra-clear glass with an anti-reflective coating on one side. SGG VISION-LITE is manufactured by laminating twopieces of semi VISION-LITE together.

SGG VISION-LITE can fulfil variousfunctions;

- safety: SGG STADIP PROTECT laminatedglass,

- acoustic insulation using SGG STADIP SILENCE.

- SGG VISION-LITE can also be assembledinto double-glazed units consisting of 2 sheets of laminated SGG VISION-LITEglass; in this case, all four faces are tre-ated with the anti-reflective coating.For enhanced thermal insulation pro-perties the inner sheet of the innerlaminated pane can be replaced with a low-emissivity coated glass such asSGG PLANITHERM.

SGG VISION-LITE is a coated glass whichis treated on both sides. It must be

processed and installed in accordancewith specific instructions.

- SGG VISION-LITE coated glass cannot beheat-treated, i.e. toughening or heat-strengthened.

- For roof applications, it is not recom-mended to position the anti-reflectivecoating facing towards the outside(face 1).

- For horizontal interior applications(museum display cabinets, shelves,tables etc), precautions must be takento avoid frequent and excessive fingermarks and the risk of scratching.

Comparison of performance of SGG PLANILUX conventional glass with SGG VISION-LITE anti-reflective glass.

ImportantThe residual reflectance of SGG VISION-LITE anti-reflective glassis very low (approximately 1% forlaminated monolithic glass). It ishowever still visible under certainlighting conditions, viewing anglesand in certain surrounding environ-ments.

The residual reflectance depends onthe angle from which it is viewed.Perpendicular to the glass, it is slightlybluish and can vary slightly. Forexternal applications (eg: shopwindows), it is strongly recommendedthat a sample is viewed in theintended location.
