PROCEDURE TO REPORT A STUDENT ABSENCE– A parent/guardian is to call the school to report a school absence ON THE DAY OF THE ABSENCE. You may leave a VOICEMAIL message at 317-887-4707. Press 1, and answer the questions, pressing the # button after each response. Voicemail is available 24 hours a day to report an absence. Calls prior to 8:00 a.m. are encouraged and appreciated. If a call has not been received by 10:00 a.m. the day of each absence, a School Messenger reminder notification will be delivered by telephone. A call is needed EACH DAY a student is absent. Students may return to school once they have been diarrhea free, vomiting free, or fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications.
